    Hi everyone,

I am having some issues with a dreamcast. I just bought a Scart Cable and everything was working great, until the sound effects in game kick in. The soundtrack is perfect, sound effects have a echo/reverb sound absolutely irritating. Does anyone have an idea? Could it be the cable? Could it be a sound chip? A cable not very well attached?

(I can't test in another DC or do I have another cable)

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
I'm also having sound issues. I'm using a PAL dreamcast fitted with a brand new GDEMU. PAL game ISO's work fine music and sound. For some japanese games I get the music but sound effects are quite low, almost can't hear them.
I'm using the Akura from Beharbros to get the video signal in HDMI, I don't think i had this kind off issues when I was running the original japanese games when I had the GD rom reader in the console. Any idea ?
Could it be I need to use a japanese console, or maybe the ISOs are corrupter ? Actually I shrunk them using the tool from this website.

Won't the Gdemu treat any iso as a full size Gdrom regardless? As in there is no reason to shrink them for gdemu use. I can't say if and how it would affect the gdemu, but the site says rips that otherwise are fine could have unspecified issues on a gdemu.
