    Hi there,
I saw some videos on the net with people using Mad Catz MC2 dreamcast racing wheel as controller for arcades (Naomi, Lindbergh).
Anyone has a tut, a guide, at least a pinout, something to understand how to do it?

    Many thanks in advance.

Update: I was able to get all schematics & pinout needed, right now I have gas & brake working, tomorrow I hope I'll have time to complete the work on the wheel.

    Some info for other people:

    1) I have a Sega JVS2Jamma version 1 (http://triplemoonstar.brinkster.net/theshed/default.asp?stockid=1854). It has a black JST RA analog 26 pin connector.

    2) Mad Catz MC2 is quite simple to mod: you just need 4 wires for pedal board & 3 for steering (basic setup with no gear shift). Once opened, you can find 2 potentiometers in the pedal board and one in the wheel. Pots are quite simple: on center pin you have the "value", on pins 1 and 3 you have VCC (+5v I guess) and GND. If you steer to the left and the game reads it as right you have just to swap VCC and GND.

    3) On this forum (http://www.gamoover.net/Forums/index.php) I found a very useful spreadsheet with pinouts of many sega racers: the pins on the first column is the pinout I needed. I put the links here, but all credits to user Iro on that forum!
    http://1drv.ms/1P9AQ8T "short" version
    http://1drv.ms/1HU1xhe "long" version with schematics

    4) Enable the gear shift is not as simple as using the wheel and pedals. For now I'm happy to use automatic transmission as well as having view change, credit and start on my joystick (don't need to have those controls next to the wheel). I'll try to post pictures of my mod once completed (if completed... ;/)

Finally got it working. At least for automatic gearing.

Gear levers behind wheel are factory linked with gear lever on the right.

Signals are green and orange wires on the left.
Beware that Sega's JVS2Jamma needs the dipswitch to be NOT in 6 button configuration to be recognized by Hummer extreme, Outrun2, Initiale Ds.
