I was going to register the web site after TK (for whatever reason) decided not to renew the domain. NetSol. has a policy not to release a domain for I believe 15 days after the renewal deadline. I was going to register, but someone beat me to it.
So, I thought the next best thing was DCH2.

I'm glad to hear you will be back Vegi! I hope others will follow!

He's still around, He posted on the new site owners 'dreamcasthistory.com' forum. I know he would like to bring the site back himself. He has told me in the past he has alot going on and no time to devote to DCH. I've taken it upon myself to bring site back.
I hope Tom will contribute, only time will tell...

    DCHv2 is back!

    A quick update:

DCHv2 (http://www.dreamcasthistory2.com) is back on-line  (well almost).:crying: I have to update the phpBB and lots of boring administration tasks. But I will do my best to get the site back 100% as quickly as possible.

    DCH2 Forums

I was able to update to phpBB3. Restore and convert all of the old mySQL data over to the new forum.:rambo: It should be back in a few days.
I still have some cleaning up to do. I'll post a URL here when its back on-line.

Ahh, shame. That's why you should use Godaddy for such things. Pay them the $15 (or whatever it is now) to try and advance reserve the domain, then forget about it and wait for the e-mail! ;-)

Hope you get it up and running soon, I'll be sure to stop by again!

The DCH2 forums are back on-line. I did the best I could cleaning up the mess. I still have some fake accounts and posts to delete. But everything
should be working. If anyone has any trouble let me know...

As far as the main site is concerned, I'm still working on getting everything updated and changing URLs to reflect the new domain name. It will most likely be a few weeks (possibly more) before I have it up and running...

Hey guys - what's the problem with posting some new topics on Dreamcast History. I tried my very best but if no one responds this becomes a little bit frustrating.

So go over to the revived Dreamcast History Forum, log-in and wish at least a happy new year to your fellow Dreamcast fans!

The problem is that almost everyone who creates a Dreamcast website thinks they need a forum as well (not necessarily dreamcasthistory (mainly fansites)). Generally, people only want to register one or two places, and those places are where there's a lot of activity (like here).

    The Fate of Dreamcasthistory2.com

I thought this was the best place to post:

I have decided not to renew "Dreamcasthistory2.com" domain name.
The site gets very little activity and the forum hasn't seen a post in months.

I'm considering bring back the site under a new domain name and redesigning it. At the moment I have neither the time or motivation.

I apologize to those who wish to see the site remain online.

    Best Regards
