Hey guys... I have just been thinking. There are a ton of things I have wanted to do or learn, but just havent been able to, or havent tried hard enough... I know I could if I commited enough time to, but then something new or something else pops up taking my time away from it. So tell me, What are some of the things you have always dreamed of doing or learning, but have never came to light (Or if your working on it)? Heres a couple of mine... -Breakdancing I love the way it looks, and just how technical some moves are. I wish I could just bust out some moves at school or wherever whenever. -Gymnastics I have always wanted to do backflips and handsprings, but I could never afford to go somewhere where someone could teach me... but trying on my own is still fun! -Japanese Learn The Language, Visit The Country. -Creating Awesome Music I have always been fascinated with creating music using some computer program such as Fruity Loops... but I never put enough time into learning everything. -Going To Culinary School I love to cook! :dance: -Making Everyone I Know Happy I always put others infront of myself. No matter how big or small... Even if it creates problems for myself, or even if the other person never notices or never even knows. I'm finally getting around to programming, which I have to do anyway as it's my major (Computer Science). I'd like to get a head start, though, so after seven/eight years I'm finally going to buckle down and actually make progress with it. I'm aiming for Python right now, then C++, and eventually assembly. The guitar is something I was trying to get the hang of, but I'm primarily a drummer and don't really have the time right now to devote to learning another instrument.
I dream about a fictional story I've been conjuring up in my thoughts for a really long time. I've got some ideas on paper and some concept art drawn, but it may be a little too generic to generate any money. I was thinking of turning it into an RMXP game. I want to buy the original version of RMXP before I start making it, because most scripts don't work on the older version. Still debating on whether to get the newest version or not, but I'm used to RMXP.
I consider I have accomplished most of the stuff I wanted to do in the last year, but here is some of the stuff I still have left to do: -Start playing drums I wanted to buy a drumset and start jamming around since a long time, but I never had the money, or when I had it I always had something more important to do... -Get a driving license I really have to do it soon (I can't keep spending an hour to go and another hour to go back from college daily), but I never have the time to do some serious practice and take the test. -Finish all stuff I have "on hold" I have lots of projects I never finished, like the movie I started doing with some friends, between others. I'd like to finish them sometime...
I have only one dream that I've not given up on, but I am not currently being active in doing and it is a very secret dream that I will not say. All I have to say to you guys is that you have to stay dedicated. It's easy to start on something, but it's hard as hell to finish it. My dream is to finish college and I'm currently working on that. Working on a Civil Engineering degree. So far I'm loving it.

The main goal I have had is being satisfied as a guitarist. I have been playing for 9 years, yet I will never be content...I suppose most musicians are that way. I yearn for peace of mind and feeling content and satisfied in who I am and to make my family proud. Also, I want to eventually become a more serious musician playing in a melodic death metal band....I lose sleep over it sometimes...dreaming up riffs.... Being financially secure would be nice too.
I go from wanting to accomplish things, to not fucking caring. I dunno. Right now I'm trying to get my license, and maybe move or something.
first off is to finish my website as i keep re-doing it and never get anywhere, also i need to try and learn how to play guitar as i have an electric sitting in my room but just not been trying hard enough to learn. last thiong is to learn to drive since i've always been meaning to do that last few years but not got round to it
Being happy as much as possible: Unfortunately, I work at WalMart. It's absolute hell no thanks to incompetent management. Fortunately, I'm going back to school...again. This time I'm going for welding, and hope to get into aluminum welding (big $$$ potential). Make progress in the Bujinkan: I haven't trained in about 6 months due to life interfering. Right now, I'm at 4th kyu (been that for over a year, due to the need to see my ranking shidoshi who's ~2.5 hours away and not always having the time on days off to go up to see him). Learn 3D art and animation: I'm dabbling in it right now with Daz Studio and Poser 7. I'm self-learning right now and don't have a whole lot of free time atm, but I'm hoping to become more proficient at it, and move up to using Blender, 3D Studio Max and other 3D "sculpting" programs.
