    Hey Everyone,

I know the iPlayer flash cards don't support commercial roms, but run homebrew runs just fine. How does the iPlayer know when your running homebrew vs a commercial ROM? Does it detect this based on ROM size?

I'm wondering about this because I was planning to buy one for development purposes, but was worried it was limited in some way (such as max ROM size) since it apparently can't run commercial ROMs. Does anyone have this card, or know of how it decideds if your game is a commercial image, or if its your own development code? Header maybe?

Doesn't it have to do with the DLDI patching? Does homebrew need to be patched to run?

Only if you plan to access the file system.
