The TV adds are on Japanese TV a lot now. THey don't give any release date though, just Winter 2004. It would be great to get one on my Birthday ;-)

I'm excited, though im curious why the relewase date is earlier for the U.S, but im guessing its to beat the psp to the market. It is nice for the price they are bothering to include a demo. Other then that im excited for the release, hopefully it will do well despite the price.

1 whole month! I'll get one if the Mario Kart game is out then. I can get a good jump on the time's in time trial if I start earlier.

I think I'll wait a bit for the DS (say January). I want to see some good games/apps for it before I fork over $250cdn for a completly un-proven design...

 

Honestly i don't see yet how Nintendo and third parties are going to really make innovative use of that dual screen - look at how similar ideas worked out for the PocketStation, VB, and the DC VMU - none of which were ever used to their full/promised potential.

Even the traditional Nintendo low-pricepoint at release has been done away with here.....at nearly $200 CAd I can gardly see this thing flying off shelves especially with the GBA next to it.

Until they do prove they can do what theyve promsied with the DS, my money is on the PSP.
