i am looking for more info about the tech demo carts that were shown at E3 in 2004 and to jounalists around that period. These carts contained - DEMO: Baloon Trip DEMO: Carving DEMO: Mario's Face DEMO: DS Pikachu DEMO: Special Effects DEMO: Submarine DEMO: Table Hockey DEMO: pokemon scratch Apparently a (slightly different) Japanese version of this cart also exists. i am reasonably sure that it is indeed a real cart, not a development cart, as develepment carts for DS protrude from the game slot of the unit quite a bit, and the carts holding these demos did not. They have been displayed in the US, Japan and the UK, so several sets, theoreticly, should exist. Anybody have any info? or even help me with obtaining one?
Sorry for the hijack but this thread just set me wondering if anyone owns one of the proto Ds units from (I believe) the same e3?
I can't seem to find my FCC pics of the original DS model, but you should be able to dig them up on the net with a little work, but this will do for the time being
