That's exactly what I'm on about. Counterstrike is a keyboard and mouse game. It has jump, crouch, a "buy" button, and loads of crap that would never fit on the PSP controls. I appreciate your point, counterstrike is well suited to short game spans, but what developers need to be saying is "let's learn from this" instead of "let's port this".
What's funny is the only thing between CS and the PSP is the fact some idiot at sony R&D decided to place the analog below the Dpad instead of below the action buttons. It isnt perfect but is kinda better...
How could you use the analog and the action buttons at the same time then? Personally I like to aim with the analog on the left and move with either digital or analog on the right. Generally in games I configure the face buttons to forward, back, and strafing. Then the Left analog for aiming/looking. Comes very close to a keyboard/mouse to me.
Dunno, mayb elike I do in GC and Xbox games... I said it isnt perfect, but is the best way I can think of, and would make for a great upgrade in the upcoming PSPs.
No because there you have 2 analog sticks. How would you use the right analog stick along with the right action buttons at the same time...
Dude is not that difficult, in CS you could use the L+R for shotting and other stuff and the action button for the buy menu. On the other side, how can you control the Dpad and analog at the same time? Unless you've two thumbs in the same place I'm out of ideas.
Thats the point we are making. "What's funny is the only thing between CS and the PSP is the fact some idiot at sony R&D decided to place the analog below the Dpad instead of below the action buttons." If they did that then you couldnt use the analog and action buttons at the same time.
