http://www.gamingheadlines.co.uk/view.asp?id=598 Great news for importers ;-)..... ... .....http://www.assemblergames.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=2467
Seems logical what's the use of making a portable machine that has no need foo different outputs like ntsc or pal be region locked. No portable console ever as far as i know has had a region lock on it.
good news That s good news. At least they stick with that... :smt045 It's just nice to play games from around the world, especialy when they are not released here in europe
*throws hat in the air* Now I can play all the games I know will never come to the US! But there is a stalking game being localized so who knows! :smt043
Now I just have to decide whether I want that ugly ass US box. I still might buy a Japanese one from Lik Sang.
Thanks for the tip, Kyuusaku. I was just by that area today checking out a really crappy apartment... like most on the island, unfortunately.
Beautiful, I'm so glad they decided not to implement any region lockout. Imports too wacky for life on US soil, here I come. Speak of... the need to make a portable Ore No Ryouri on DS - with the touchscreen, it would be perfect for a new chapter in that game. Too bad the rights are owned by Sony and they are just sitting on it after releasing that one, shining gem...
I am not surprised because all the other Nintendo Handhelds were Region Free aswell ^^. But its still good news :smt023
