DSP-1 / DSP-1B - what will work in a Super Everdrive?

Hey folks!

I just received a Super Everdrive. I also bought a japanese Mario Kart for the clock generator and DSP.

If there is a DSP-1B in that cart, can I use it? Or will only a DSP-1 work?

Furthermore, can I buy an hex inverter instead of harvesting it from a console / game / whatever?

DSP-1, DSP-1A, or DSP-1B will work. Doesn't matter.

There was a DSP-1 in the jap. Mario Kart cartridge and the clock generator. I bought that IC from the link above, soldered the parts to my Everdrive and everythings works just perfect, wee!
