    Hey guys,

Does anyone know where I could pick up a 12v power supply that would work with a DTL-H1100 blue Debugging Kit? Mine came without one, and I'd like to test it before selling it. If the adapter were an official Sony one, that would help too.

    Thanks,

    -Chief

I think they are dual voltage. They are in storage, I'll try to get to them this weekend.

I had a feeling it would, there's a Yahoo auctions listing for a boxed one that includes the 12v adapter, but it's 5000 yen. I'm not exactly willing to pay $50 just for an adapter.

The retail adapter is 100v only. Keep that in mind. Only the DTL version is dual voltage.

If your not too bothered about originality, you can swap out the 12v internal power supply in your PS1 with a 120/240V one from a stock SCPH-100X!! The connectors are the same and its only four screws, It must be a the same model PS1 though, later 5000's had revised power boards..

Changing the power supply is the worst thing you can do, you instantly devalue the console. The DTL-H110x is my favourite unit because of the external power supply, it works with 100-240v and the yellow power connector is cool.

You are of course exactly right, and i try to keep my consoles stock. I thought though as the op said he wants to test the console before selling it, this might be a quick fix :)
