DTL-H800 Sound Artist Tool (PCI)

I like to share pictures and all information i have about the DLT-H800 Sound Artist board.
Hope to find more about the last dev pcb on PS1 timeline.
The H700 was for mac only, but with the H800 it was also for PC!
I installed the H800 in my win98SE PC and i have the driver for it, but win98SE dont want it







Here i found another nice information. Looks like the h800 and the h1500 are the last projects for the PS1


If you have more information, tools, drivers will be great when we can share anything about this device.

 

Both DTL-H700 and DTL-H800 cards are Mac only cards.

 

Try it in one of the first four PCI ports.

 

Well but they throw out Win95 driver for the h800, i also can put out sound of the h800 spid with test tools.
Im sure the pci board work also on mac but not only.
When its mac only, win98 cant read bios of the board for "Sound Artist Board"?

The instruction manual says only about Mac computers...

Sony could add Windows software later but I never seen it so I need to see the floppy to believe...

 

it was on cd not floppy. V3 pci board was also PC not mac only. Last step before PS2 tool. H800 and H1500.
You can watch on the h800 win notes if you like...

 

I will check the version of my card asap. I think I have the same card but I'm not sure.

I have seen the original floppy disks with the software for this card but only once. They are very rare.

 

when i remember right the V3 was where they include win/Mac bios support. Your H800 looks like V2 on Lattice chip.
If you like to scan the H800 doc, will be great.
Will be intersting, can you put your h800 into a PC system? Remember the OS it as Sound artist tool ?
