i know that feeling... even though mine are quite suffered and junky looking, they're still my most precious things ever.. Took me years of work and effort to get, (and then repair) and now it's all good~
it's just the sexiest thing consoles ever as far as i'm concerned

i'll slap a pic of mine sometime when i get them in the same room :p (yes, i have 2)

edit: you made me think about it too much...

here's my humble set of DTL :)

DTL T10000H at the background and my bride and joy and result of a decade of dreaming the allmighty 566mhz card equipped DTL-T10000HJ at foreground.

the TEST is a V0 PCMCIA equipped kit (DTL-H10000) from Namco japan, along with one of the HDD's that came with it.

WOW! It was a decade for me too! I had only 2 encounters with a TOOL prior to having my own! First at a trade show as a kid seeing it behind glass in a meeting room and two TALL men closing the black curtain and door as the 4 seconds of sight where burned into my brain, second at EA Games in a "junk" closet as I walked towards an interviewing room........ That's when I felt hope for a mere mortal may somehow obtain one somehow.
