As an answer to defor's questions and Hi_Ricky's request, here are inside pictures of the Performance Analyzer :)

    Let's remove the hdd tray:

Now let's remove the gigabit ethernet card and the PCI815VE SBC card to take a look at the MIF board:

About the cables, the thin one on the bottom left plugs into a small extra board with 2 rows of LEDS wich you can see on the first pic.
The bottom middle goes from the main board to a connector on the underside of the MIF board.
The bottom right 26-way ribbon goes form the MIF board to the parallel port connector on the SBC.
The top left 9-way ribbon goes from the SBC serial connector to the mainboard serial port CN101 located on the top left, you can see it on the next pic:
The 10-way ribbon goes to the board with the dipswitches located on the back of the Tool.

The two chips you can see on the MIF board are labelled:
    -IC401:
    VS28AE
    DP83846AVHG
    A4

    -IC201
    CXD9624GG

On the top right you can see part of the DIF board where the CD/DVD drive is connected.
The cd/dvd controller wich you can't see is a CXP102064-751R

Very nice kit. Seems that you take a lot of care of it. Can you post pictures of the whole system? Please?

I didn't receive it in this condition though...
The admin page looks the same as with the 10k units.

    Yo peoples !

I see interesting stuff between the GS and EE chips. Like two big Xilinx FPGAs and a lot of SDRAM chips. Is this unit capable of logging packets from the GIF without having to stop the PS2 side processing ? That's how such a construction would make sense.

Also about the MIF board, the DP83846AVHG is the PS2 side ethernet port PHY. The CXD9624GG is the ethernet port MAC controller and IDE interface hardware (Sony call it "SPEED" chip).

If they've integrated a HDD unit into the unit, does its SSBUSC (typically a CXD9566R on a SCPH-10000 and DTL-H10000, although I have no idea if it's also on the DTL-T10000) report itself as a CXD9611-compatible (as in, one of the many SSBUSCs used in expansion-bay consoles) or still as a CXD9566R (For PCMCIA units)?

Considering that it has no PCMCIA SLOT (look pictures) I believe it's safe to "guess" it emulate a expansion bay type console. Also the fact of it being targeted at profiling software for performance I'd toss another educated guess that this set is also based on the CXD9615GB EE and CXD9619GB IOP chips.

    That sure is beautiful.

Too bad I've got no money for one of these things. I'd love to have one, even if just for the novelty of just owning it.
