Hi, just got my first debug console, its a dtl1001, after replacing the old laser with a shiny new one and a quick clean up it looks as good as new, but i started thinking, did they come with any official joypads or memory cards?? and were the blue/green too.:icon_bigg

 

I've never seen any debug controllers or memory cards, but you can get blue/green dual shock ones.

 

Thanx, i got a clear memory card and clear blue dual shock pad, i took them apart and sprayed them on the inside (blue of course) with some enamel paint. memory card looks fine but joypad too blue now.. just got me thinking if official ones existed..

 

I saw an auction a few months ago for a boxed dtl-h1000 with a blue controller, here is the picture:

 

I have a blue debugging station controller that came with my PS1 debug (as per the picture above).

Wonder what the hell became of all the rest - someone, somewhere is hogging them all. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of the blue ones. The first one I saw was the one mentioned in UJ's post which he sent an image of to me a few months back. Prior to that I didn't realise they were even made.

 

Thats great, until that pic i didnt know they existed, my dtl1001 came with a standard scph-1080 pad (grey) with the words "EXT.DEV" written in black marker on the plug end, and i assumed they were all grey.. looks like the hunt is on for blue joypads... I love this, think i may be addicted to collecting...:nod:

Probably japanese only. It's difficult to make out but to me it looks like it's based on the scph-1010.

 

Would love a green one to go with my DTL-H1202!

I've seen some of Lukemorse's videos at Hard Off and the junk bins look like they have some blue pads in them.

 

I think an Debugging PS1 allways sold with 2 color pads from Sony (green or blue).
I got an boxed H1200 last month. On the Box is an small letter with the including stuff.
2x DTL-H1080 Controller, Memory Cards not include.
Unlikely my H1200 has 2 grey controllers... Never seen green controllers :shrug:

Blue controllers have a "SCPH-XXXX" model number. They come only with the first DTL-H1000 "Debugging Station". And only with the first release.

I have a DTL-H1202 "Debugging Station" with one black DTL-H1080 controller. I think that standart DTL-H1202 model had two standart grey "SCPH-XXXX" controllers. I must check it...

 

I think you mean SCPH-1080. At least that's what my black controller says.
