Anyone know much about this- was it shipped standard with all DTP-H1500/DTP-T1000, or was it a separate Sony item? The molding quality and overall design honestly strikes me as possibly not even a Sony product: More photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/defor/sets/72157633000431601 There's 2 magnets in the base part, that pull on the curved metal in the holder part.
Hm, it definitely works really well.. I'd love to find a second one for my debug, as most other stands won't work on the H110 without getting in the way of the cable.
Was that the T1000 with stand that was on eBay recently? If so, kind of curious if there was anything interesting on the disc that came with it...
Aww, come on now... I _almost_ bought that just to find out what was on that disc... If it's the listing I saw, the seller obvious had no clue how to properly use it... And I kind of wanted the cool little stand... I think those were offered by Sony for when developers put game on display for demo/testing (like at E3 or something). Lock the T1000 in a case and mount the PSP outside so people can play demo builds of your game. Or maybe just to make it easier for devs...
The game on the disc is something that never was released- I'm still debating what to do with it given that the system is still considered "current". As far as the stand goes- yeah, I think more than anything, it's simply to make using the damn thing easier, as you can't put the controller down without it falling over on its face with that cable on the bottom the way it was done... I've considered making two "legs" that attach to the screw posts of my other controllers though so that it's more of a tripod design, and would sit at an incline.
Heh, so it really is what it appeared to be.. I knew I should have bought that, just for the fun of checking it out, but I'm not really familiar with the game so I wasn't that anxious for it (and I already have a T1000). Nice score though. Is it playable, or an early build? It's funny, my T1000 had a disc in it too, but it was for a released game so not as interesting (although I think it's a build different than the release, but I don't know in what way)... Can't even remember the name of the game, I'll have to dig the disc out when I get home... Godfather I think.
Yeah it's not really current but as long as it's still being manufactured, I think the rule was...? I'd love to know what was on it :love-struck:
