DTP-T1000A problem?

    Already running in system software boot mode.Put Umd and start the system, there is no Umd icon in the system.How to run a UMD disc? THX

    Do you have the bottom pressed for to boot UMD or DVD

    Is your drive set to UMD? If the disc still can't be read your UMD drive might be defective, you can (I have personally tested this) however get UMD drive parts for a psp-1000 and install them on a DTP Unit, be aware however not to damage the UMD logic board doing so as it cannot be replaced.The UMD drive is somewhat of a sensible part and prone to easily be damaged if mishandled.

    Good to know! I was actually wondering about that.

    I can't tell exactly if the OP is asking where the drive select button is..since it's right there on the front under the UMD drive

    Press the button so the UMD light is on. This has to be done with the devkit on, but the attached PSP unit off.
    Otherwise if you are doing that correctly probably a screwed drive, it's not uncommon.
