Yeah, combined with the head cold I have I couldn't play it at all the day it came out, lol. According to 3D Realms they had 6 months to do it...but I dunno. Seems like they could have done something. Still good and playable though.

they could've had it done months ago really.

it's not like 3d Realms is actually making games or anything.

We all know Duke Nuke em forever doesn't exist.

Yeah, I'm sure they just sit there spending millions a year talking about how great Duke Nukem Forever would be and making mock screenshots and videos. They've never made a real videogame before, anyway.

With games like Fallout3 this generation could end up being better than the last one...

Anyway, GoH is a poser, I hated the Wii before he did :p

this Duke Nukem 3D is the ultimate version to have, of course it would be awesome if it ran in widescreen but neither of the previous versions did.
this is the best looking and best DN3D version to have.
at $10 you're getting tons of fun.
and if you still holding out on "this generation" of consoles, you might just as well be called casual gamer...because there are truly amazing titles coming out and systems don't cost that much.

Yep! We all need to play DN sometime. I think my only gripe is I can't turn super fast, but it makes for good laughs kicking people.

    It's the atomic edition.

Never thought I would see the day people never heard of this game...none of my friends know what it is and scoff at it.

    No my friends are NOOBZ

My favorite part of coop Duke Nukem, ever since I was a kid playing over serial cables...

"how do I use the jetpack?"

And then you see a goofy fucking Duke Nukem flying all over.

So I'm not the only one who got irritated eyes when playing Duke Nukem 64?

Hehe. I kind of like the way stuff looks in DN64, aside from the blurriness. I guess it's because stuff was just different looking.

Weren't the environments in DN64 fully 3D? Pretty sure it wasn't anything like the original engine, anyway.

That was the Saturn version. N64 had a few 3D bosses.
