Hello, here are my collection of dumped arcade intros/videos. Will post more when I have time. All are dumped from real arcade dumps, not windows/console games!
omg @ Lets Go island...haha, seems like I need to get a Lindbergh the day they arent 500 Euro anymore
This days im thinking about a crazy idea.... Im sure that cant work but here jackalus.... you can do everything with modern arcade stuff, im hoping you can disprove me. Im looking for arcade hardware on ebay and.... they are very expensive, in europe I can found sega RingEdge for 400~600€, I know this kind of hardware are born for commercial use like arcade activity (but where i live... arcade are extinct) and you can cover the cost... so the crazy idea is: The Ring Edge 2 for example have this hardware (from system16 site) CPU: Intel i3 540 @ 3.0 GHz GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT545 RAM: 2GB Storage: 32Gbytes TDK GBDISK RS3 SSD Sound: Nvidia HiDef Onboard Motherboard: Intel Q57 Express Interface: eAutomation CAN Port, DB9 The single part cost around ~180€ on ebay, ok now there are the possibility to replicate the machine? It run windows 7.... or they have some kind of specific sega bios or other owner part? I think once you have the os image can work.... the "only" obstacle are the security dongle or the online check. Im not a coder, hacker or super genius..... I dont know if its only a dream or an hope Im waiting reply bye
Of course emulator is possible and wouldn't even that more than month or two in case some coder would have reverse engineering experience and access to the system internals. Question is, why would I waste my time on such thing? I have million other projects, real work and own company that actually make me money. 400-600€ isn't even expensive, best is real cabinet and motherboard
Thanks for your answer, but do not worry.... I never asked for an emulator or any kind of work from you, I simply asked if a similar or identical hardware with the cloned hdd (or original) can work like the original machine, stop. Simple curiosity
Actually couple of weeks ago I wrote Fast I/O and RFID emulator myself, I can play them on my PC with XBOX360 controllers. Can post pictures later, also works on original Taito Type X2 since i made pass trought Fast I/O/RFID Emu -> Interpreter -> JVS Client, including coins and everything
Here are some pictures of the actual hardware: - Taito Type X2 Nesica (stripped apart lol) + Dongle + New I/O card visible. - Fast I/O board - Middle board where old wide 60pin cable goes and RFID reader taken apart. - Taito Type X Zero Server. https://www.dropbox.com/s/thurm9t8jaqkkjz/2016-01-27 12.13.46.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/jp178f6fvqmo7np/2016-01-27 12.14.02.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/lvfu5mc3eecyy8r/2016-01-27 12.14.15.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/15vtal8w18ouwam/2016-01-27 12.15.04.jpg?dl=0
