I've got these two VMUs and they are full. I don't want to lose all my savedata. Is there a way to upload them somewhere or something like this?

Or get a BBA or a coders cable and back them up to your computer with vmu explorer

you could always get more VMU's they are rather cheep plug 2 into each controller for a total of 8 VMU's and back up the data to other VMU's

as far as i understand VMU's are NON-volatile memory and just require the battery for the clock and screen so even if its battery dies your saves should be safe

If you build/buy a sd-card adapter you will be able to transfer VMU saves, along with bios/flash to your SD-Card, for prosperity.

I hear rubbing them together makes a save game vapour you can inhale

Tried it, it only made me dizzy. I had to rub them pretty hard though to make them smoke ...

Yeah, the SD cards are a good way to backup your saves. I have a 2x memory card and an official vmu though, 1 I have formatted for Bleem games, and the other Half-Life mod saves. The VMU I use for retail games so I can see the nice lcd graphics.

Anyway, if you want to purchase the sd card adapters, I have written up a nice faq and tutorial/review over at Racketboy.

I say get them. I have a 32gb sd card on mine, and it is nice to have an unlimited medium for storing tons of emulators of all types on it. I have over a GB of Snes roms by themselves. Chui just updated almost all his 4all line of emulators to utilize the cards for browsing roms, and saving, so for these, you don't even need a vmu plugged in to save.

The SD would be perfect to me.

I've been searching for them locally (someone that has bought a pack of them, etc) but to no avail. You know, I am kinda scared of importing them from China. Who knows if it will really arrive to my country. :/ Is it safe?

Thanks for all the input though, guys.

I used to do this too, before I got ahold of some of the easier methods.
Website appears to still be up: http://www.booyaka.com/ but I dunno if it's functional these days. DC isn't handy atm so I can't really check it out right now...
It was a great site back in the day and there's some cool info floating around there for people interested in the VMU.
