Dux for Dreamcast finally completed

Looks like the games finally been finished after nearly 2 years in development.

Hopefully the game is better then the god awful last hope. Glad the first post says nothing about the game, just the free limited edition things you might get if you preordered. That's a healthy sign...

 

Yeah, to be honest the game seems kind of meh. Reminds of some budget cellphone shooter really... Don't think I'll pre-order it, but I'll probably end up buying it. If for nothing else, just because it could be the last of the official release DC games.

 

First of all, it's not official - it's homebrew, just like Last Hope. Second, after the success of Wind & Water: Puzzle Battles, Yuan Works is already working on Little Ninja. Not to mention Cryptic Allusion which is still to publish Donk. There are still games on the way, so Dux is in no way last.

 

Its about time this gets released, after that many delays and stuff.

 

Yeah, I've been following Donk for awhile. I should have probably phrased that better. I know it's not 'official". Actually, I thought it was being released on gd-rom, but from what I've read it's supposedly only cd-rom.

 

I'm looking forward to Little Ninja, most of the rest I don't really care about.

 

I preordered DUX with the knowledge that my card would get charged when it shipped. Then I found out my card was charged, and had to cancel the order.

Hope I get some bonuses, but I'll have to wait for next paycheck to justify dropping more cashssss.

 

Not even Wind & Water? Or did you mean upcoming titles only, not recently released? I'm so pissed because I missed the Wind & Water preorder. Everyone who preordered got a custom sprite coded into the game. How cool is that?

I did however manage to secure the Posterity version of Pier Solar.

As for Dux, I'm not too excited about it. I'm more of a bullet hell person, and even though I do like R - Type, Dux seemed a bit slow on the videos.
