This whole "new console" business is idiotic, and is going to lead to the downfall of console gaming. It's almost as if everyone has decided that early-mid 90s Sega were geniuses.

 

The whole Windows 10 pushing is disturbing... I feel sad about the Microsoft Game Studios' people that don't like it and need to swallow it.

I'm really saddened to hear Crackdown was pushed back to 2017. That's the only game I was looking forward to before the conference.

I hope that Reagent will do the right thing and give people who pre-order a small demo to play around with to give them a taste of what's to come when the game releases. Otherwise it'll be too long a wait; the game was announced at E3 2014, and the multiplayer was supposed to have come out this year.

This is why it really annoys me that Devs (and/or publishers) showcase games a couple years before they're ready to be released, as the waiting eventually becomes too long and people begin to get annoyed. There should be an unspoken rule where you should only showcase footage of a game that will come out before next year's E3.

 

I don't really agree; consoles can provide a play experience that is wholly unique from what you can get from a PC or even from a tablet. I think there will always be a place for the home console. However, I do agree that rapid releases of new console variants runs the risk of exhausting the market and eroding consumer faith in the product and brand.

 

There shouldn't be a "better" version of a console running alongside older models. Launching an Xbox S and then announcing Scorpio the same day can't be a good thing for sales either. I was interested in getting an S, but knowing a more powerful system is coming next Christmas, I'd rather wait.

 

You create maket confusion you murder your product, Microsoft did that today. Doesn't matter how many dick flops your 4K one has its Unnessessary.

When the PS4 launched I joked that it would launch with no features and they'd add them as time went on...I regret that joke now. I hope this blows up in everyone's face so they never try to fuck us over like this again.

Spiderman, RE7, Norse God of War, Crash Bandicoot (remastered but it's better than nothing) Kojima's new game with Norman Reedus, FFXV VR, VR...........................

YEESH.

 

I would say some of the main highlights for me were Suda51's "Let It Die", Titanfall 2, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, custom Xbox One controllers, the Spider-man game, and (surprisingly) Battlefield 1.

Every E3 it's the same thing, waayyy too many games coming out for me to play.

 

I was preordering shit on amazon last night until 1 am. I preordered Horizon and Resident Evil 7. May downgrade my Persona 4 preorder to just the steel book and preorder Tekken 7 as well. What else did I preorder uh OH Shantae half genie hero physical copy, and Titianfall 2. OH DUH and Last Guardian which I might cancel and wait on and get World of Final Fantasy instead.

 

Huh, I didn't think about it, but I guess MS really did only announce two games, with one of them being Gwent.

Still don't give a flying eff about VR though.

 

I need to try VR first before I buy. I'm damn near blind in my left eye The price needs to be right as well. $400 isn't the sweetspot $300 would be. Rez VR would be more than worth it.

I have a bad feeling about the future of XBOX. Sony has a beefed up PS4 coming but they're downplaying it. Microsoft wants you to know how many dickflops the Scorpio has and that it's coming........
but what about games? What about this Rift Partnership? They really haven't showed off anything coming beyond Spring of next year. Sony Laid it all out for us. We'll have games coming out our ass for years. It's not a fanboy thing at all. The right is is clearly on the wall for XBOX.
It's gonna be a Nintendo and Sony only world soon. Although I hear Rumors Samsung might want to step in and replace XBOX when the time is right. That's form the typical I know a guy that knows a guy that talked to a guy that works for the assistant of a guy who works at (insert company name) Grain of salt on that.

Phantom Dust remaster tho that's cool. I'd like to see more XBOX games get remastered, Voodoo Vince maybe? Blinx? Blookwake? Remaster that back catalog Microsoft.

 

A lot of people are unhappy about RE7. But personally, anything is a welcome change from RE6

I'm much more willing to give this a chance over an RE6 style sequel, just have to see how it all plays out. Kind of bummed there was no info/screens/video for the RE2 Remake though

Kung Fu Chao was as close to Power Stone 3 as we ever got. hey Microsoft, do an XBOX remaster collection and you have my money do a pack in deal Rare replay, XBOX Remaster collection, a controller and the XBOX slim and the money will roll in.

 

Yeah, an original Xbox Remaster collection could be pretty slick. Voodoo Vince, Nightcaster 1+2, Quantum Redshift, Brute Force, Kung Fu Chaos, Bloodwake, Azurik (I know a lot of people hated it, but I thought it was decent for what it was)... if they could get Otogi 1 + 2 that would be great.

 

I've been feeling nosolgic for the Classic XBOX for awhile now I think a lot of people are. If they can't make money on BC for Classic XBOX this may be the route to go. My XBOX died a few years ago and the last six months or so I've been wanting to collect for it again.

 

Thanks to Sony as the leaks from two months ago until now only had info on the PS4K, MS probably discovered that around the time and decided to beat them with the Scorpio as it is much more powerful just like PS4 is against XONE.

Also, they have time to change it to even more powerful, the PS4K appearently is almost done.

 

Also, why the eff does MS think anyone cares about their high end controllers?

No thank you, only one system has godlike controllers that could sway a purchase, and that was the Saturn. All other controllers are just kinda there.
