It is really worth reading through all(!) the posts...someone even has a beta of that Wolfenstein...Interceptor will release various beta stuff over time...amazing times ahead ! :'D

 

Awesome for the guy to actually take efforts in trying to release old beta stuff. This Duke4.net thread is pure gold.

 

Seems like nothing got released yet... :'(

 

Let's hope they're just in the process of squaring everything away. All the concept art that's been released already has been really exciting. I'm sure with time more will be released. I'm going to continue keeping up with their forum.

I don't think so. I've been checking the thread on the 3D Realms site and I don't recall seeing anything new coming out of this.

 

I love how they labeled their test builds, stating that people are lucky to own an illegal beta copy and to contact them to provide feedback anyway. It's almost like they expected leaks to happen so covered all the bases to maximise their reward from potentially bad situations. It's little bits of inside humour like this that I love about discovering things from behind the scenes.

I kept reading the original post...seems like this will take...forever... "Duke Nukem Forever".
No recent postings of the Interceptor people anymore. It started great...

Too bad, there was a lot, ready to be explored...

People there wrote that the Wolf3d alpha was indeed compromised...ah well...

I had the Raptor betas back in the 90s by myself and now regret not having those archived.

 

Aaaaaand another 1,5 years later...the original thread is "active" again, sharing some models and screenshots again.

But the guys that now "own" the software seem a bit pissed and annoyed by all the people asking for beta releases...since april 2014...

 

Thanks for the heads up. 72 pages? Whelp, there goes what's left of my weekend...

I can see how three years of constant "zomg torrent plox" can get you just a little pissed off. Great to see they're still sharing anything anyways.

Looking at screenshots on a forum VS. I want to hexedit all files by myself feeling...and it is a strong feeling ;D

Also, by now I wish it would be more sorted.
A single thread for each game with sub categories, like screenshots, 3d models, unused musics, funny programmers remnants etc.

 

Tried all shadow warrior alphas/betas today. Those that got poste don reddit some days ago. No idea of this has to do with th e old thread as I gave up reading there.

But the alphas have been, lets say, interesting.

The "Super Upgrades" (which I never heard about before, so nice surprise) are up for grabs for free, but need the base game.

Not sure what you're hoping for. The betas are not going to be released. Images and videos at most, but it's very sporadic, if any at all.

 

I was hoping for the betas, ya. Like all of us.

Did I miss that they will never release anything beta anymore ? :S
