EARTH DEFEND / EARTH DEFENSE (RealTec) for Genesis/MegaDrive

I am working on a compilation of legal SEGA Genesis / MegaDrive ROMs for a free downloadable Dreamcast CDImage over at www.dcevolution.netfirms.com
I'll include several nice surprises so the waiting for you will pay off well :smt033

I stumbled across a pirate/unlicensed release by Realtec, a Korean or HK company which doesn't exist since a some time.



AFAIK there still doesn't exist a dump of this game so I'd like to ask if someone of you guys own the original cart or a dump of it?



Similar goes for Ballon Boy / Funny Games

Hope someone here can help with a rom dump because that game "the eart defend" looks really nice.

 

Just a friendly reminder to make sure if you're asking about roms that they NOT be licensed, original games - only pirates or unreleased or public domain, due to the conditions of ASSEMbler's hosting (plus the fact that it draws the rom kiddies like flies to shit...) ;-)

That being said, you might try IRC, or look for the Genesis/Megadrive Goodset, as those usually have a fairly complete catalogue of released roms.

 

Unlicensed games are also protected by copyright..

 

Yes, that's correct. The are copyrighted by their producers. In this case I guess that RealTec is long gone... I don't know who holds the copyright atm, if any. This game is not licensed be SEGA.

I can take the ROM request out <- and this line too.

EDIT: Seems that Ballon Boy / Funny World isn't by RealTec. And it's copyrighted too (see screenshots).

Balloon Boy was dumped but won't run on GENS. It just loks after the title screen. THere's another Korean Mega Drive game that locks too but I can't remember what it was called now.
