Interplay inked a deal with series creator Douglas TenNapel to relaunch the character. A new game, an animated series and a movie.TenNapel will also serve as a creative consultant on Earthworm Jim 4. My prayers have been heard
@GodofHardcore: LOL, i was at my university's library and i laughed so hard with the picture that they had to kick me out xD I don't know what happened to me, everybody make mistakes.
And while Interplay's at it (I thought they just died considering their debt...), maybe they can get another crack that the Star Trek franchise...
Back to the original post, it would be very cool if they actually got it right. I'm rather skeptical, though, as they've failed to get it right (even in ports) for the past decade or so. Let's hope it isn't just a lazy cash-in on the franchise. Sojiroh: What is your source for that information?

Been a huge fan of EWK...errr... EWJ for years Actually I recently got an autographed copy of the Earthworm Jim Anthology (Soundtrack) and thought that was pretty nifty. Wonder if they are getting Tommy Tallarico Studios to do the music on the new stuff? :020:
Earthworm Kim........must be the korean version Funny how this happens just a week after I played EWJ2 again. Having a sequel of a great game is always good news, but in this case I get the feeling that all these guys want is to milk the franchise with a craptastic yet profitable lowquality game, just like SEmmy has been doing with Sonic. Seriously, an animated series and a movie? Unless they can get some BFD/Family Guy humor into that, its going to suck, since what was considered edgy in the 90s is "family friendly" these days...
The old cartoon was entertaining Freakazoid quality humor. Since this probably won't be on Kid's WB, and it's Doug Tennapel, maybe it'll be geared towards the now-growned up kids it originally aimed for. I do hope it's Tommy Tallarico, and I do hope it's 2D and hand drawn or something!
