God, it really annoys me when 'Rare' gets thrown around so much, but 'Ultra rare' ffs, get a grip eBay seller! Most of those titles are readily available and a quick search will prove it even on the very website the items are posted on! Plus those prices suck! :banghead:

Quite. My friend had I think it was 3 games removed from eBay the other day for keyword spamming in the title. His infringing phrase? "As new". Apparently it's prohibited, and if he does it again he'll be banned! :banghead:

Why the hell can't they ban "rare"? Surely that's one of the most spammed words on the site!

 

Yeah, eBay removed the ability to use phrases such as "like new" from their titles which is a good thing.

I know what you mean about "rare." I sometimes see other Japanese sellers marketing an item as "rare" that's really not that rare. But I think people buy into it and the Seller actually makes more money because of a lack of product knowledge.

Since that's how I started, and probably more than a few of us did as well, I tend to cut them some slack. But on bad days it does make me shake my head...heh.
