    Exactly what I predicted back then. I knew it would happen, and it indeed did. What makes this auction fishy is that the whole text is a complete copy-and-paste of the old auction, even the Questions & Answers were copied (mine included). Lots of contradictions there as well:

    "Condition: New"
    vs.
    "original (opened) box but it is NOT in "mint condition" by any means"

    "You are bidding on a open box 3do M2 development kit CD-ROM drive box."
    vs.
    "1st picture is the opened kit. This is what you're bidding on."

    And for what it's worth, he's using photos of the same unit he sold earlier.

    I would almost say that the first auction was solely faked to push the price so that he can now really sell it for 3000 bucks.
