    Possibly silly question: does anyone know why all the GC dev hardware that comes on the market is located in the United Kingdom? Did a big UK developer go under and sell off its stuff? Shipment of hardware hijacked by pirates off the coast? Big-time well-connected UK speculator hoarding hardware and selling it off a piece at a time?

    Coincidence on the UK thing, considering Akklaim went under in the US a well.

    Thought quite a few small developers have gone under recently, but them more M/S and Sony stuff rather than Nintendo

    A lot of the dev stuff I have seen and asked questions about, are all bought in job lots from companies selling assets etc

    ...Basically several big game companies went bust a few years ago, most had headquarters in the U.S, thus the U.S stuff was basically sold off straight away. The U.K based stuff came up for grabs roughly a year after the U.S stuff.
