Someone did buy it now on them.
Where was I 10 hours ago? :banghead:

I'm very much aware of the purposes of devkits outside of actual development, and completely understand why most people have them. I was mostly poking at the fact that every Halo 3 modder seems to need a devkit, which just seems silly to me.

For me, I think price is quite high for cassette and instructional booklet only. Also, how do you know it is limited to 500 pieces?

Better still a link to the claim that one is selling for $2240, as I can't find anything, in fact for less then half that amount you could buy one one that is boxed and complete on yahoo auctions...

It's quite scary that a few years ago these were priced at well over Y398,000 (Super Potato had one for Y498,000 not two years ago) and now you can pick them up well well under half that.

This a known fact amongst collectors and nintendo magazine issues back at the time (famitsu, etc)
Related in japanese websites as well, like this one:
    http://homepage3.nifty.com/tarenosuke/notforsale-sfc.html

You need to improve your ebay searching skills :)
    Here is the link:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/Yoshi-no-Cookie-National-Limited-Super-famicom-Japan_W0QQitemZ260425860522QQcmdZViewItemQQptZFR_SK_Jeuxvideo_Games_VideoGames?hash=item3ca29745aa&_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116
So far, this is the only other Yoshi no Cookie Kuruppon Oven Version available on Ebay.
You can buy at yahoo auctions, but that's another country, another website, another charges/deputy fee, etc.
Buty there, you can find a CIB Yoshi yes,for 3 times my price (2 for 150000), there is 1 for 100000 with damaged box though.
That's the buyer choice to take it for 50000Y/500$ without box, or with box for 150000Y :)
You won't find anotheryoshi no cookie oven right now except mine for such price.
Too, I'll probably list my extra Kunio-Kun no Dodgeball Dayo Zennin Shuugou! Tournament Special Gold Cassette probably today as well.
And not for the 680000Y Super Potato price ^^

At the link, I think it said 'thought to be about 500, but does not know for sure, it had heard 500 as event game, but lack of confirmation' (not known fact). I think perhaps it is like Kunio-kun no Dodgeball gold cassette too, were correct number is not known for sure (well at least for me ^_^).

I remember having a famitsu where it clearly states 500.

If you go to www.ebay.com and type in yoshi cookie the other one doesn't come up, even if you click store inventory and worldwide.

There is only one copy of Japanese Super Puzzle Fighter 2X (playstation) on ebay that doesn't mean it's rare. :p

Well unless you live in France, that's another country. :p

Which is only 2 times your price, with a slighlty damaged box and complete, which would still have better resale value.

I noticed you not commented on the fact that this game has dropped in value by nearly a half in the last 3 years. ;)

Then try other ebay websites. Simple.

Well if for you a hibaihin sfc game such as Yoshi Kuruppon isn't rare...:-(
That's just the kind of games Mandarake&Super Potato put on their display glass shelves, but they surely are a bunch of idiots

    What do you mean?
The Yoshi at 1600€ on Ebay is in Japan, proposed by a japanese account owner..?

I noticed you not commented on the fact that this game has dropped in value by nearly a half in the last 3 years. ;)[/quote]

I agree. If you're ready to pay 500$/50000Y more than my price, you get a damaged box. That's the choice of the buyer,of course.
Still,my price is the cheapest available for this game.
I can't say the same about yours :p
