    The PS2 Tool looks pretty complete, although I don't think the Linux distro fits in there?...:rolleyes:

    After shipping it might be a few bucks more, but if you get it from RacketBoy.com, I'd assume it would ship from the USA instead of Hong Kong and thus you'd have it in a week instead of "eventually."

    The cheaper one he has there is the one I ended up getting. The cable is getting a little finicky (there's a spot you can kink it in where the color goes out) as I used to move my DC a lot, but as for visual quality it's just fine. It has been a long time since I've played my DC with anything else.

    Hm... which one is finicky? The Dreamcast VGA Cable or the Dreamcast VGA Box w/S-Video & RCA? I think the second one is the same as the one on eBay. I wonder why that one's slightly more expensive even though it does basically the same thing (I don't need the extra video outputs). You might be right about getting it from there since it won't take as long.

    The cable. And what I mean by that is probably 3-5 times now I've turned it on (after plugging it all in, I usually set it on my bed which is next to the PC and set it up for a session instead of leaving it plugged in, there's not enough room) and had one of the colors missing on the screen. just repositioning the cord a tiny bit with a flick of the wrist sorted it out.
    But I definitely want to make it clear that I haven't exactly treated mine with the respect a cable deserves. I wouldn't be scared to own one.
