I have to admit LeGIt, I laughed my a$$ off when I read your post.

I find the concept intriguing though I absolutely hate that clear pink color, if it were in just gray or something else I'd consider getting it and trying it out.

By trying it out would your other hand be otherwise occupied? :p It could be worth a punt I guess, if it was wireless or monoshock even more so. Wait... monoshock... that would be so wrong =/

It's for the Playstation so the chances of seeing anything remotely pornographic is slim anyway, there are a couple of types of these controllers for the Playstation 1 and Playstation 2 and they are made by Hori and they are official, they did not make one for the Sega Saturn or PC Engine which would have been better platforms for a single handed controller.

The idea for these was so when you are playing RPGs and the like and have another pointless random battle you have a hand free to eat some snacks, drink some thing or maybe get a knife and make the world a happier place. $25 is taking the piss though.

I disagree, if the above mentioned auction had the casing color that iestyn posted, I'd probably get it.

Seriously, for the majority of RPGs for the PSX, you are mostly just using the d-pad and two maybe 3 buttons at most . . . and its usually not real-time either. . . .

    I got this one:

It may look like a shower unit but it is actually comfortable for playing RPGs. I found that at a retrostore for 10 euros.
It's a cool item. Especially for the summer when you wanna chill out playing some relaxing rpgs while drinking a cocktail/drink or something without letting the controller down.
Too bad the PSX didnt have Eroges to test it with. Lol.
(you could still hook it up to a pc though with a psx to usb converter. XD)

See that looks like it would work really well. Do you happen to have a link to where you bought that or did you get in a shop?

If you were to offer me $5 for this thing last week I would have taken it. It was the folks here on Assember that told me that it was super rare. I emailed the buyer and he said he had a complete collection of every NA released Saturn title........ except for one so I was glad to complete the guys collection.

    http://shop.ebay.de/video-jigoku/m.html

Neo Geo AES JP (ovp) low serial (53xxx)
Neo Geo Memory Card JP (in envelope)
    RGB jap. Nintendo 64 (loose)
    Tatsujin Oh Original-PCB
    Fixeight Original-PCB

Fixeight has a "stripe" problem, posted a thread about this here on AO:
    http://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=11863

Tatsujin Oh has a small sprite problem when you reach the later stages (numbers vanishing or popping up on the screen)

The RGB N64 has no color booster so the image looks slightly darker than usual (see pictures)

    I'm the seller of course.

It probably just takes some time to show up o_O
At least that explains why it's the only one of my auctions that still has no people watching it.

    Here's a direct link:
    http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320653528447&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

They were all made by ASCII and I believe while they are well suitable for RPG's and the like, they were initially designed for ASCII's inhouse horse-racing games of the Derby Stallion franchise, hence no PC-Engine & Mega Drive controller but a Super Famicom one.
The Saturn got one as well, I have it brand-new in box:

Being a Derby Stallion edition this controller included several booklets to write down your horse racing statistics as well as stickers (to illustrate your victories and other achievements). The idea behind this particular Saturn controller by ASCII was to control the game with one hand and to write down the results with the other.

Although being a horse-racing controller I guess it was way more popular among fans of 18-rated Mahjongg games. Like Jamtex :p

Although the modules are US models, it's way overpriced for the destroyed box and loose accessories. And the used looks used, look at all the tiny scratches. It's miles away from "new"
