My grandfather is going to love this. He hates it when the shipping is 10 + times the item itself...

 

The worst thing about that outrageously high fee: eBay will collect a percentage for FVF so the seller will lose over $10 when it sells. And you can't file Paypal claim the shipping was too high when the item arrives via first class bubble package with $5 postage.

 

how they sell 4 with shipping cost like that anyway ? lol

If this was actually brand new, the contents inside would be sealed in their plastic bags and the manual wouldn't have a stain mark on it. I can't believe people didn't notice. Very shady.

 

I've bought games from Konsolenkost before and know for certain that they will charge you close to actual shipping costs if you contact them about the item and ask them to send you a new invoice for shipping. It seems that they are just lazy and post that shipping price for just about all of their items, probably expecting that customers won't actually pay that. Of course, you can get even better deals from them if you buy the same item(s) straight from their website, without using Ebay.

$1400 ?!?!?

 

A few years ago, I bought an SMS model 2 from a guy in spain. He wanted like 15 euros for it. Shipping within spain was like 10 euros. I figured it wasn't a bad deal, even though I live in the US. I messaged him asking for the price of shipping to the US, and he said it wouldn't be much more than shipping within spain, but he wouldn't be able to calculate it until it was ready to ship, meaning I had to buy it first. I figured it'd be like 20 euros at the most (SMS model 2's are light as hell, and it was a console by itself) so I purchased it. The guy sent an invoice later for 215 euros. 15 euros for the system, 200 for shipping. I told the guy he was fucking nuts, he filed a complaint with ebay about ducking payment, I refused to pay, and ebay sided with the guy and I had an unpaid item on my record for like a year or so. It actually prevented me from winning an auction once because the guy demanded perfect feedback from buyers.

Such bullshit.

 

Dang. There used to be a way to get eBay to side with the buyer if the buyer can show the seller made an unreasonable markup after the auction ended but I guess not anymore.
