That's not the point :D Game isn't that rare and 80 is way too much even if it's CIB in perfect condition, and 1/10 of that price is a bit too much for just a cart.

Yeah, I know why they posted it in the hall of shame but I thought it was funny that the seller put "MADE IN JAPAN" in the listings title! As if all the other thousands of games on ebay weren't made in the same place...

I gotta laugh at these type of listings with a very common game listed as EXTREMELY RARE
I see this to often someone who has no clue about video game collecting asking an absurd amount of money for a common game.

The game is not sealed, does not have the original box (all PAL Gamecube Players Choice games have a silver case) and the inlay is not close to mint because of the ripples and I see a small tear on the bottom right.

In this condition it's worth maby £7 or £8

I have both the first print and players choice myself in mint condition and they are worth around £15 each in mint condition.

What? O_O Аnother "grading" service? Like VGA wasn't enough.... And yeah, EXTREMELY RARE, like water in the ocean. But well, after these EA sports games for a few thousands this one isn't crazy enough.

Ice Climber US version most recent complete sale was $80 USD. Obviously there is a (cover) difference with the Australian version. I can not find any recent sold one in Australia that was other than cart only.

Sorry i should have worded my post differently. There are 8 games in total and if you find the original add, they dont seem that rare to have an asking price of $575

if that's for real or if not, WGAFF?
    ...
i mean, all i need to do is look NO further than here (assembler) for some really CrAzY exorbitant prices, SERIOUSLY insane!
    ....
my observation on a somewhat ONE-SIDED and BIASED thread!
    ...
i know of a vga (video game authority) and he's been a FANTASTIC help to the like of me, sound guy all-round! :friendly_wink:
never had trades with him so....
but his feedback is a force to be reckoned with! (and he's the FIRST american person i'd happily hit up in regards to a trade, when i can man-up and take a risk in member/online commerce!)
in fact, i'd go as far as to say, he's cheaper than some english 'merchants' how does that work out? (rhetorical question)

Ok, so we all know that some idiots advertise VGA graded games at ridiculous prices.
BUT hopefully noone is dumb enough to buy them.

How about this though, a SOLD listing off ebay with 31 bids - $8,000 for a 2ND HAND copy of RE1 in acceptable condition. Wasn't that the sale price of RE 1.5 lol!?

That HAS to be a shill bidding thing. I cannot imagine anyone stupid enough to bid on this for so much. Maybe $8 but not 8 G's.

Or a sniper bidder that went haywire :p
It would be quite easy to mis configure something like esniper, by adding a much of zeros the wrong place in the Config file.
And if the seller notices, he could be shill bidding to. Making the final sale price insane.

Hopefully, no one have been that stupid though :)
