$10,000 of work for a beat to shit NES game to a guy who isn't "into games" and 98.3% off 68 feedback. Seems legit.


Such a nice guy to also ask so nicely to "buy with caution". The "have a nice day" is why I plan on buying this. What a nice guy who seems legit beyond legit.

 

Weird, the auction ended "because the item was no longer available" and the sellers name has changed to thegamerschoice1. I didn't even know you could change your username on ebay?

EDIT: Considering the guy now has lots of video game related stuff it seems it was either a wind up or a quick & dirty scam to try and catch someone out.

 

It seems a lot of people can't be bothered to read the first post any more...

Huh, bit harsh considering I posted a screenie and a link, thus giving people the option to check the auction whilst it was still live and preserving the evidence? And a bit double standard considering you didn't touch the link in the post right above mine?

Surely a better rule is "Posts without screenshots will be removed"

May I suggest editing the thread title then? People will probably not read the first post, it's a pretty self-explanatory thread.

 

People managed to follow the rule for over 70 pages. General forum etiquette - read the first post in a thread before replying - especially a sticky, which may have guidelines ;-) You don't put rules in a post title.

And Sonny, I'm not sure what's not clear enough about the site owner saying "links are not allowed".

Anyway, for those coming to this thread to post and not bothering to read the first post, I'll reiterate:

Strange game. Never knew that one worked for C64. The description mentions "Nintendo 64 1985 blaster master in case" which would make this the very first ever N64 game.
