Not sure if its a good idea or not, and put it here so its kept safe. Is it worth having thread with everyones ebay tags just so we don't bid against each other? I understand if people are against it, just thought it would be a good idea to stop us bidding with one another.
Kinda seems like a moot point now that ebay offers private auctions now which are used on all of the good stuff these days.
I appreciate the idea..but if you were a seller and people didn't bid on your stuff 'coz their mate had already' you'd be a little annoyed to potentially lose out on some cash. Probably (lol) Of course this goes on anyway, albeit more informally. Keep it that way I say, lists etc quickly become annoying. But then this is a great community (see SE release for example) so it would be another way for the community to help its members out. Although can a great community actually be great if they do something that isn't so great (imo). Meh! (Just for the record, and I've NOT got anyone here in mind, I do think its a very unsavoury practice that frankly benefits selfish greedy sods the most)
