Ebay rippoff beware

hey all

Thought I would let you knwo to beware of teh ebay user gameuniverse the guy is a crook and her is why. I bid on two of his items so by his terms teh items are each 7.99 shipping, you have to pay shipping on both items and you have to use the item with the highest shipping amount, so my toal would be 7.99* 2=14.98 + 3.00 insurance + .02 for the items, he avoids ebay fees. but he says in his auction you can take 2.00 off second item so my toal should be 14.98+3.00 + .02 -2.00=17.00 his check out is trying to charge me the full amount 17.98. When you try to email him he he takes two weeks and during this time keeps sending payment reminders. finally when he doe respond his anser is to "Pay him" What a friggin jerk.

I understand adding fees to shipping to avoid ebays high fees but I only want to pay for what we both agreed to in an auction. Anyways I am fighting this with ebay we will see what happens. While I am not a power seller I do have decent feedback from both buying and selling so we sill see how I do anyways beware of gameuniverse the guy is a complete jerk.

 

Game Universe...hmm...off the top of my head, is that the person with the alien-like character in his auctions? Like you stated, I recall the shipping prices to be atrocious for this user.
