eBay UK bans PS3 import sales

    We wanted to let you know about some restrictions that will be placed on pre-sales of the Sony Playstation 3 console and games. To protect the whole eBay community, sellers will not be permitted to list PlayStation 3 consoles and games on ebay.ie until the authorised European pre-sales period begins in February 2007.

    Nope, more like eBay doesnt want to get the Sony v Lik-Sang case confirmed by the House of Lords ;)

    So what? Whats wrong with them trying to protect the company from a sony.

    Blame sony for not getting the consoles out intime.

    For all you youngsters, Sega did the EXACT same thing in the US w/ the Dreamcast, and kept it up until the system was discontinued.

    It does only mention ebay.ie - the irish version. there still seems to be a fair few on the uk version.
    edit: just realised it also mentions ebay.co.uk further down. Still, there are quite a few still on it.

    This bites, sony are so crap for doing this.
    If I lived in the UK and wanted a PS3, I would import one right now just to piss Sony UK off...
