it's a kiosk i think, not a proto

 

There are pics on the website, http://tenshingoods.blogspot.com/ like 3rd or 4th game down. Says "not for sale", maybe it's just a kiosk demo or something?

Thanks for the link mate, that thing is damn cool. I think i'll keep an eye on it's progress. Hopefully the lack of images in the actual auction will keep the majority of bidders away (and therefore the price down) :thumbsup:

Doubt it`s a proto as they normally have half the cart missing...either no labels (writing) or super basic lables....and as for box + instructions :-(

Probably a pre-store/show demo to run.........cant see anything on the cart to disinguish it from most anything else

Look like Ebay removed the Chrono Trigger auction... Maybe becuase it said 'Proto' in the title? (Sometimes they are anal about people selling prototypes, as I'm sure most of you know... )

Is it something that $300 seems like a fair price for? I haven't actually seen this before...

It might have been in the kiosks prior to the game being released but I'm fairly certain its a final copy. Its not like the eary 1 disk prototype version of Chrono Cross.

 

afaik Mirage was option and didn't come with CartDev Rev.B as standard if you look at the order form..

and I wonder whether it comes with the systm disc as well - some do as I found several left inside by the dev houses that throw(?) them away...

 

It might be nothing special, but I'd be curious to see the insides of this thing.

Actually, $30 is probably about right for FedEx next-day delivery... I'd prefer to use the cheaper, post-office $4 delivery myself, but maybe he's not giving that as an option...

 

The ChronoTrigger sample along with a Romancing Saga game at least one other say "sample rom" on the Title screen jfyi

 

The Seiken Densetsu 3 sample has it on the title screen too, however i'm not so sure about Chrono Trigger

Maybe this isn't too obscure or anything, but I've never seen it before...

 

300 on any of the 3 "sample ROM" SFAMI games is too much, maybe good if it was 300 for all 3
