One guy was selling an almost identical one recently......which was removed from ebay...........anyone remember be asking about how
much they were new from M/S??

The guy said he bought it from a boot sale from a guywho used to develop games and his son used it :-(

Then it was removed from sale...

    Then Gavroche posts one...along with a NR-Reader.

The odd thing is I only saw completely clear DEV-KITs when I was testing
for M-Soft a few years ago.

Some guy picked up a bastardised one that had the Dev Kit top but with the standard base/inners of a black production model.

Someone may be able to advise that they did make some two colour ones
but I find that hard to believe.

Perhaps this is the same one rearing it`s ugly head again!!!!!!

Also Gavroches ones has just jumpedto £400+ :smt082

lol, stand by virtual alan for the news thats "hard to believe"...

*ALL 'standard' Xbox Development Kit's (of the console type) have a clear upper case and a black base!

...Be that DVT3, DVT4 or whatever!

...There's no, if, buts or maybe's, thats how it was :)

*They did make a handful of 'all black' Dev Kits at one stage, just to confuse things even further, these are rarer than hen's teeth!

I'm showing myself, what can I say. Doing better than I expected on the XDK, but then again, people do realise that the Raptor card is a little treasure.

Miss on the account? Dont be confused, my other half used to own the ebay account and i nicked it from her. she used to have a trading name of "littlemissstrouble".

if anyone is local to me, then feel free to show your interests. Heck, I even traveled 120 miles to kent today to a "local" collector ;)

    Cheers

    Gavroche

Pretty impressive prices for a webcomic...

Which reminds me: I want to start up my own webcomic and sell scraps of paper for hundreds of dollars. Only instead of "100% of the proceeds from this auction will go to the Child’s Play charity", it will be "100% of the proceeds from this auction will go to buying rare, prototype, and developers video game systems". So who can I put down for some sketches?

I don't think it's an official GB proto cart, looks like a normal cart that's been hacked up a bit. Kyuusaku could probably shed some more light on it though. I may pick this up if its cheap enough, quite fancy something like that for homebrew stuff.

Fair enough, im not going to argue with you if you have the real deal to compare it to!

Even though it's bound to be blank by now, im certainly more interested in buying it if its a real proto cart!

Potential bidders beware, I have backdated pay coming! ;-)

As that includes a (legitimately labelled) rare GD duplicator, it's high, but not that unreasonable.
