  1. Gee, they do don't they? :)

The seller also bought a rare system (look at his auction on his one feedback). I wonder if we'll see some other stuff from this great seller.

The controller *looks* like a standard CGB, though it's lighter than one as it'll be missing its guts. Basically the controller has an LCD screen, speaker and buttons, but that's it. It'll connect to the unit you've got via the ribbon cable at the front. One end of the cable plugs into the unit (as shown) the other end plugs into the controller.

Incidentally, there are also versions of the Wide Boy with controller plugs (resembles an IDE plug) on the front. These Wide Boys can be controlled via the N64 controller -or- with a CGB controller.

Well, all the games that the auction lists as being on the cart are color games...but the seller is probably going by the box...which I tend to not trust on pirate crap. I'm just surprised that I've never seen one of those before. Had no clue they existed...

The cartridge slot it for writing the flash carts. I've got the IS-DEBUGGER, and it does require the GBC with the cartridge adaptor. The GBC also is modified to have it's clock lines sent to the unit so you can pause/step though when debugging. It can also be used with the wideboys, which I have seen with the clockline modification.

Big Developers tend to buy more than one so that they have "back" ups in case a critical component breaks.

I think I might just have to get in on this one... :smt071 Though Im not very familiar with Katana's, does this one have a writer inside?

EDIT: Wait a minute...This guy HAS to be ...you know who..Ive seen threads he made here with this exact same stuff in it. Plus the location is kinda a give-a-way :-D

Yeah I knew it, http://assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6777 :D. Just curious, what happened to the old ebay name?
