Of course it gets posted here too.

Please leave the following auction alone
    http://cgi.ebay.com/Nintendo-64-64D...1QQcmdZViewItem
I found out about it last night when someone from starmen.net pointed it out to me.

This should contain the last things necessary to boot the M3 disks. The floppies contain IPL4rom that I need to flash to a blank N64 cart. The black partner 64 may be necessary if my blue one does not work (I cna't get it to play anything right now so I'm a little worried). And the Partner 64 cart is apparently necessary.

Does anyone know who the.locust is?

Liquitt: Does that mean you are planning on buying it? I sure hope not.
I would really rather not get into a bidding war on this. My credit cards have very little left on them. I guess I may have to put a few things up for sale just in case.

So if you could please do not bid on this auction. I rarely ask something like this. And I realize I'm not a very important member of this site. But most of you know about what I'm trying to do. I've received a lot of positive comments on what i'm doing and I hope the support continues. A message similar to this has been posted at digitpress by Nicola.

    Thanks

I have no interest in this particular item, but it does upset me then I see someone trying to fix the price on the lower end. Most of us here sell stuff on eBay from time to time. How would you like to see your stuff sell for low price because someone agreed not to bit high? Bullshit I say. Next time you come up with similar message and it's something I'm interested in, I'll thank you for bringing it up and bit on it.

You are not required to leave the auction alone if you want it. He was simply expressing interest in that particular auction in case there may have been a casual bidder that could take it or leave it. Besides, liquitt had already said that he wanted the dev kit anyway.

    Xbox Alpha 1

Hey all. Found this on ebay its a alpha I dev system. I noticed this one is different than the one I have. It has a differnet CPU and the front of the case is different. Mine only has one opening at the top for 1 cd/dvd drive and says xbox on the front. Can anyone give me insigt in to if this is a hybred or the real deal?

Look at who's bidding on it. Do you really think someone like that would bid on a fake? ;)

Just not sure it is all original or on eof the first alphas. All alphas I have seen or read about came with slower processors and all the cases had xbox in the front with a place for a jewell.

I'll give you guys a clue...It's missing a 'crucial' part!

It's missing the custom made aluminium "Xbox Development Kit" marked front panel that also has the lovely "Direct X" jewel attached to it.

The panel would of originally have been glued over the front of the P.C front, thus hiding the redundant bits. I guess that one had a hard life.

G-14 classified uber-rare beta proto confidential test... "controller keyboard"

I might actually take this seriously if the seller didn't start out the description with...
