I bought a 360 preview game on ebay. When i got it i compared it to the retail game only to see they have the same build dates. I pm him and he replyed saying if im not happy with it he will refund me. He refunded me before i even requested a refund + its up to you if you want to return the disc or keep it..
And it's legit? It's odd he has no problem if you send the disc back or not, it's usually the people selling copies that offer that sort of resolution. If it is legit, then yeah, nice guy.
You do run into very nice sellers on occasion, but they're generally just looking for an excuse to get rid of the item tbh. For example, I bought some California Raisins a LONG while back and a few of them weren't the same as pictured. Seller sent me a full refund when I asked about it and sent me a PM with it saying "Keep them if you want, I don't really want them back." Edit: Clarification
Seems like this guy considers that losing reputation on ebay more harmful, than losing money. Bad review can make a lot ot trouble for seller for a long period of time, influencing on all other items on sale.
That's very unusual, assuming he didn't make a representation about the build date in the listing. Typically prototypes/previews are sold as a buyer beware sort of thing when it comes to the nature of the contents.
I've had numerous experiences like this. It's very uncommon but it does have its reason from time to time. If I sell something I want to just rid myself of it, so I'd probably do the same (or at least keep like half the money since I dont want to be at a total loss)
I guess the seller could be Chinese because they’re always worry about reputation. But I believe that this is a good strategy and the satisfied buyer is always right. Once I was asking to write my essay online and it was a good experience. But if it’s bad, I’d write negative feedback and I suppose they would refund too
I'm pretty sure OP bought a 360 game with the big yellow "promotional" stripe on the front. That's not a preview. OP is not the sharpest tool in the shed, considering some of the other rubbish he's posted.
