I thought I would report on how I got on at the Edinburgh games festibval last week, but there was pretty much shit alll to report on apart from pissed sweaty journalists. I went to the xbox live tournament ,Edinburgh vs Glasgow and it was the biggest shambles I have ever been too,I mean they had a lottery to see who would play the games and only forty could play on the cinema sized screen,which left me and about two hundred other people extremely pissed off,the only consolation was getting to play Outrun 2 on the xbox to death,which is absolutely fantastic and better than the arcade,yes you heard me correctly..BETTER. Someone had a Psp at the main conference but there was no software to run on it,wow,that was bright. Overall then it was very poor and more a promotion for Edge than anything else.Oh got to play the final build of Gt4 and it is stunning.(Gran Turismo).
Why, are you coming? ECTS has gone downhill of late, EGN is supposedly much better, but its a more cliquey thing and as such, costly.
I have to say im really looking forward to Outrun 2 on xbox now, especially after those comments and all the screens and vids i keep looking at, it feels like i have about a million butterflies fluttering in my stomach :smt040

Its not all that bad at the moment, i have had some real ups and downs the last few months but i think i have found my feet again. :smt045 for some odd reason i have also started collecting PSone games :smt030
Nothing wrong with collecting psone games mate,there is some real classics for the system.Some of my reccomendations would be...Gradius Gaiden,Gradius deluxe pack,Gunners Heaven,Symphony of the Night,Metal Gear Solid;Integral,and I really like the Goeman game on the psx too.Ridge Racer Type 4 is another personal fave of mine.
