I am currently refurbishing a previously dead sega cd model 2. It’s getting the works, caps, bios and lastly a battery socket. The sega cd model 2 uses a 3 pin ml2016, which presents a problem as I couldn’t find a 3 pin socket. Yes I know I could use wire or replace it with a tabbed battery, but that isn't the point. I decided that I should look to see if there was an existing pcb solution and if not I would design one. Luckily someone had made a solution for a similar battery used in a keyboard. Here are pics of the installation and hopefully this helps others. I am using a ml2032 battery with my setup.
Here is the links to the PCB https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/xdfK07Ms
Also thanks for the bios @Zer0-2k11 !
