What do you prefer, real hardware or emulation?

I get the complaint over the bottom two options but I also went for one of them. I prefer real hardware but i'm not against emulation (specially when it's by M2) as there is only so much space in my place to keep a collection (and it's already too big) and some of this stuff is just getting too expensive or difficult to obtain.

I would like to see more emulators that have an overclock feature, I really liked megasis because of that

Emulation is great for preservation and things like arcades where it's next to impossible to find the original hardware.

Now when talking about accuracy, it has been shown that some snes and nes games are slightly off timing wise when it comes to music and movement. Even little graphical effects in popular games are missing but no one notices cause most of the important stuff displays fine.

It's like finding a lost film but the color timing or sound is slightly off. Granted stuff like bsnes is working towards perfect emulation but it is very resource heavy and a pain to use. Is it just me or is sega model 1 emulation off? Could swear virtua racing and virtua fighter run super smooth in person but on emus it looks like it's locked at 25fps.

If you can afford a submarine, you can afford a House of the Dead 2 machine.
