I was told that a mod could be preformed to allow a retail DC the ability to readr GR-R's. Is this possible and if so is there a link as I am bored and need something to do in these cold winter months. And if you know a link on overclocking the DC as well that would be great. I have a few spare DC's,PS1's and Saturn's I will tinker with but want to try the DC first.

Old fucking post, my 1st dc contribution:

    This one is written better:

Also the swap trick to boot gd-r is the disconnect the internal battery of the DC, boot with a legit game, when it ask the date, swap with the BETA (without the DC knowing you removed the disc, old the lid switch with tape or something.) and then enter a date and reconnec tthe battery if you want. it should then boot according to the beta game.

    GDDA might not works though.

I said this off my head, so it might not be 100% accurate, but it's the amin idea.
