I was attending the Boulder Denver New Tech Meetup Group and saw an AWESOME start-up company present, Envolve. http://envolve.com/demo You can embed that chat tool into a web page. So if I was reading an article about Windows 8 on Gizmodo.com, everyone on that same page could participate in discussions about that article inside a chat room via a tool bar on the bottom of your browser. NO INSTALL NEEDED It is kind of like Facebook IM but relevant to specific web pages.
Sounds abit shit to be honest and just another waste of bandwidth. Plus the amount of idiots on sites like that is just too much. Thank god for engadget turning comments off.
