Here’s a dumb question but what does YTMND stand for on that site? I've never been able to figure it out. As for E8,　more mindless crap made up by some sad sods for sad sods who believe in such crap.

Its a joke on a line sean connery said in then movie "Finding Forrester in which a urban city kid mentors him or soemthing like that. In one scene he says to him "Your The Man Now Dog", which he was made fun of due to him sounding so ridiculess saying the line. So someone made a page which had repeated pictures like you see on teh stie of him, the line written out, and an audio clip looped of him saying the line.

it'll have listed any site that links to it, that's what referrers are.. and the long "mysterious" hex numbers mention in the ytmnd are just sessionIDs i'd say.. i second the viral marketing opinion, there's nothing special goin on here.

 

Anyone remember the Shadow of the Colossus Viral Marketing movies and sites?

Some of them seemed pretty authentic and they put a lot of work into them.

What did the site say before it ticked over into the explanation? Something indicating terrorism, as far as I can gather.
