I never indirectly talk about someone, ever. Should take what I say with a grain of salt most of the time, take it easy Lol, I wouldn't be surprised. They just leave it in a box with the original dirt it was buried in.
Why they couldn't sell off so cheaply 30 years ago, They could have sell ET cart for $5? I know they won't make any profit that price but atlease they get some money back instead $0 in the pit. Is it because They lost stock at warehouse or simply their time is running out?
Nobody was buying them even at $5 or $1. I remember that time and you'd see large tables with big boxes of 2600 games marked down dirt cheap. They'd just sit there. Also I believe the stores would return the unsold stock to Atari who would be stuck with them. Around 1983-84 everyone was getting into computer gaming (including coleco eventually with the Adam) so the 2600 was really showing its age.
There were nothing wrong with Raiders of the lost ark. It was a game you needed the manual to understand, though. With that kind of graphics, you needed a lot of imagination to be able to enjoy it ... LOL
