(EU) European Console Sale

Once I was a gamer, now I'm a developer.
I need money for DevKits, so now I'm selling the Consoles I either have duplicated, or don't use anymore.

I have the following:
3DS JPN: € 160
Surface RT 64 GB: € 420
Xbox 360 S + 320 GB + 5 games: € 300
PS3 Super Slim + 12 GB + 2 games: € 200

The Japanese 3DS and Surface RT come boxed with manuals and such.
I incidentally forgot to Photograph the PS3 games, but they're PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and Tales of Graces f.

Also, I only ship within the European Union, shipping costs are excluded from any of the products, and will be added, based on the country it has to be shipped it.
I only accept PayPal transactions, even though I ship it to The Netherlands or Belgium.

Is the Xbox 360 S modded? I wasn't aware of any official 500 GB hard drives for the retail Xbox 360. Interested in hearing more.

Also, just as an FYI, suggested retail price for a brand new Surface RT 64 GB at the shops is €429.

 

The Xbox 360 S is not modded, I bought it as 4 GB, and installed a 500 GB HDD later on.
It's no soldering and such, just a matter of adding it to the Console.

As for the Surface, I didn't know they have lowered the prices already.
I'll adjust the price after some peer discussion locally.

 

To my knowledge MS never released a 500gb hdd for the 360.

Do you have a photo of the drive and/or packaging that the drive came in?

Can you show a photo of the storage summary screen showing the drive and free space?

It's possible he has a leaked unit (MS tests out various drive sizes internally before releasing an upgrade), but as far as official retail units are concerned, you are correct. 320GB is currently the largest available for sale.

the only known ways to install and use a 500GB HD on a consumer unit at this time are to either:

1) Use it on a JTAG/RGH unit.
2) Use it on a 4GB Trinity that has had its internal 4GB unit removed and a standard USB header mounted in place.

Either one of those involves cracking open the case to the system.

That's kind of the point. If it's not a MS official hard drive, you won't be able to use it as a hard drive on the Xbox 360 unless the system is modded. Even with option #2 above, it's not recognized as a hard drive, just internal storage (so no BC support that way).

If it's not an official HD (or hacked with an official SS) and you slot it in to the HD slot on a stock system...it'll get completely ignored.

If you use an unofficial HD on one of the external USB ports...it'll get recognized as USB storage and give you the option of using it as a 32GB memory stick.

If it does work as a hard drive proper on a retail Xbox 360, then there are probably more than a few people that would be interested in it, specifically for the security sector as that would allow for people to make their own 500GB HDs. Right now anyone doing that is limited to 320GB.
